Saucer connected to the warp nacelles doesn't jive with passed designs, and seems really dangerous and against what Gene said about the warp nacelles being separate from each other. Same for being connected to the top half of the saucer
Duck neck? No. Just ... no.
Upside down just looks ugly and wrong and unlike other ships. And yes, I know at least one series ship way back when was actually designed upside down and flipped over.
