Retroactively based on the SNW design, what if Kirk's first deep space assignment service starship, the USS Farragut NCC-1647, had existed in TOS style:
Love the look of the ship,
Thoughts.

I can pretty easily re-imagine a TOS flashback scene, or someone reviewing the visual logs, of Kirk's "Obsession", Captain Garrovick and crew, facing off against the dikironium "vampire" cloud, having all taken place aboard this USS Farragut design.

Don't know if there are any CG renders of it, or something similar, would love to see it.

I like this TOS-styled Farragut from SNW. The Farragut from "Obsession" had a crew of approximately 400 so I would imagine that in TOS she was larger than the SNW Farragut or had more volume like a TOS version of the Reliant. YMMV.

Original shuttle concept had curved struts (except for budgetary reasons), plus the Constitution has curves and arches doesn't seem out of place to me, as an alternative construction design for the era.
Not everything had to look "Cut & Paste" the same.
Also like the hull mounted into the saucers underside.
