Where's Sisko's statue?

It's less that there's a Captan Kirk statue in Iowa, and more that it's in Riverside, Iowa. A town of less than a thousand people who employ their self declared status as the birth plae of Kirk to encourage tourism.

What would a statue of Sisko do for New Orleans, I mean really? Would it do anything to noticibly increase NOLA's tourism.

Well we may end up up with a bunch of pedestals that need filling soon. I'm sure we could get the Krewe of Chewbaccus on board for fundraising.

The best place for a Sisko memorial would be on the Paramount backlot, right where the exterior of Sisko's was filmed.

I was going to make that joke, but then I remembered that that's actually the Danish part of France (the England+Wales is the Danish part of the UK).
No, Wales is the Roman bit. England is the German bit that the Danes later took over, until the Norwegians who'd settled in North France took over in turn.

Kensington Gardens in London has a statue of Peter Pan. I don't think that's because London is boring.

That was commissioned by Barrie himself around 1910 and put up overnight without permission.
Paddington station has a statue of the eponymous bear too and im pretty sure there are wombles in Wimbeldon Common

Would Avery Brooks need to sign of on his appearance being used for a statue? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't want one

I think he would approve if there was a statue of Cirroc Lofton right beside his. The two remain good friends.

Door-to-door Ferengi salesmen can be found hawking trophy-sized statuettes of the Sisko in all provincial capitals of Bajor. Most Bajorans turn off their wall mandalas' lights when seeing those traveling merchandisers approaching their abodes during dinnertime.
