What is your favorite episode?

Not Easy.

ST:TNG-The Inner Light, cause I always cry at the end...
DS-9 - The Visitor and The Pale Moonlight, although Trials and Tribbilations is pretty kick butt
Space: Above and Beyond-Raymond Butts because the image of those pancakes floating through space still haunts me

nuBSG-33

Twilight Zone- Kick the Can

ST: TOS- City On the Edge of Forever

Firefly- Out of Gas and The Message

"The Debt, Part II" - Xena: Warrior Princess.

This episode was filled with flashbacks where we meet a formidable woman named Lao Ma who shows Xena "The Way". In the Xenaverse, Lao Ma was the one who wrote the Tao Te Ching, giving credit to her bed-ridden but ruthless dictator husband Lao Tzu so that he could be remembered as a wise and compassionate leader.

That was a good one. I believe that episode was the first appearance of Borias too.

I'll also throw in a vote for Xena's "God Fearing Child". It was a decent Xena episode, but a brilliant Hercules episode. The true Hercules series finale. After six years of seeing Hercules' feud with Hera, and his rocky relationship with Zeus everything comes together in a gut-wrenching climax. Even Ares gets thrown into the mix.

B5's "Severed Dreams" was the first thing I thought of when I saw the OP. Absolute perfection.

There are too many other contenders just from B5 to list, never mind all the B7 and Farscape episodes I could name.

From The Incredible Hulk-the 2-parter "Married" guest-starring Mariette Hartley, who won an Emmy for her performance. I had to look up the title-but I've never forgotten the story. It aired in 1978 and has stayed with me to this day.

Lost - "All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues", "Through The Looking Glass", "The Constant" & "The Shape Of Things To Come"

Firefly - "Out of Gas"

DS9 - "The Visitor" but there's like ten others that are just as good.

BSG - "Occupation/Precipice", "Crossroads Pt. II" & "Revelations"

There are so many, but off the top of my head, nBSG's "Pegasus" (extended version) was an excellent, absolutely riveting hour of television.

Buffy - What's My Line
Space 1999 - Another Time, Another Place; The Black Sun
The Professionals - Discovered in a Graveyard
TOS - Where No Man

There are more, these are the ones that spring to mind.
