TREKS' best music

What? No one to mention the Tribbles theme? :p :)
Yes, the "tribble" leitmotif that suggested the mewling of cats sounded appropriately cute.
One major plaus for TOS's often derided Season Three was the musical scores. “Is There in Truth No Beauty“ and ”The Empath” were two master works and “The Paradise Syndrome” was good too.
George Duning composed the rich, melodic scores for “Is There in Truth No Beauty” and “The Empath,” and also for the second-season ep “Metamorphosis.” “The Paradise Syndrome,” “Amok Time” and “Friday's Child” were scored by Gerald Fried, who seemed to specialize in “tribal” or, more broadly, “ethnic”-themed music.

It's true, in many of the third-season episodes, the music was better than the script!

Picard's flute thing from Inner Light, of course, it's such a beautiful piece...and even though I don't care much for Voyager as a series, I like its theme song.

Overall, Star Trek has pretty good music. (with the exception of Enterprise's beginning song.)

I really like the Wrath of Khan soundtrack and The music from Ds9 The Visitor.I also like the music from Enterprise's Similtude I wish they'd release the musicfrom the series onto a cd.

The music from STTMP still gets the biggest reaction from me....its stirring and beautiful.
