Things that don't add up the TNG edition

Not ones that are supposedly so devoutly honorable as Worf presents. The honorable thing to do as a widower is consider what the child's other parent's wishes were, & uphold them as being at least half of what should be done, because they are dead, & can no longer be an influence in the kid's life personally. The remaining parent takes on the responsibility of representing both.

Worf literally dishonors K'ehleyr's memory, by fully disregarding her way of raising Alexander. That means Worf is dishonorable, & that don't add up with what's presented imho
Yes, there are....

Not THE Crystalline Entity, just A Crystalline Entity. It's safe to assume there's more than one.
• The CE we saw could've developed from a different microbrain (maybe even on the same planet) sometime in the past.
• The microbrain we saw could've developed into a different CE, sometime in the future. And still might.
Ok it would make sense if there were more! You'd think that Starfleet would have considered that and looked for them to keep people safe.

What happened to Hugh's Borg community?
I think we are going to find out in the Picard show. He's supposed to be back somehow and the actor said that Hugh is on a Borg cube again.

Dishonorable honorable people? I interpreted the thread title to mean "Things on TNG that don't make sense" & brother, an ongoingly dishonorable "honorable" person qualifies imho, given how much of a blowhard he is about honor, to boot

Especially on a show that's crew jumps at any chance to call out injustice, hypocrisy or sketchy ethics. What Worf is doing to Alexander is an injustice to his mother, as well as to the boy himself

In fact, there's only one other thing on TNG that makes less sense imho, & that's a noninterference foreign policy among explorer/humanitarians that extends up to abstaining from lending aid during an extinction crisis. What are you even out there for then

It may be that after the single CE was destroyed, Starfleet went back to Velara III and glassed it to ensure there'd be no more.
:evil::lol::evil:

Which would actually be a possible answer for the OP, come to think of it.

But if the original one came before that, it had to have come from somewhere. What if there's like a whole group of them in space somewhere? And that one got lost or something? I know it's weird to theorize about a giant space snowflake, but what if?

"Home Soil", Season 1, Episode 18. The episode with General Gogol.

Though really I haven't watched it in a while and there may be something in it that blows my theory. But just envision that one or more microbrains as featured in the episode could've developed decades or centuries ago, grown in size, power, and intelligence (and snowflakiness ;) ), and eventually soared off into space to find bigger energy sources. LONG before the events of the show.

Oh well apologies then for misreading your post. I did like your idea very much, and hey when we saw the microbrain grow I did take note of its shape. Very like a CE.

You can't actually be honorable if you're behaving dishonorably. That's like calling someone charitable, who is uncharitable.
You are extremely misinterpreting me.

Lot of folks do things in the name of "honor" when they do things that others consider dishonorable...

I think it only bothers me that no one ever calls him out on it. I get that Worf wouldn't necessarily think he was being dishonorable, but that crew, on a weekly basis, calls out injustices, hypocrisy, & sketchy ethics all the time, & here they have a guy behind them who is bloviating about honor all the time, but he's meanwhile pretty much taking a dump on the memory of his son's mother, the whole time

Picard, a person who strongly opposes harming and exploitation of sentient clouds, parasites, self-aware tools etc., not only rides horses for fun but also owns a saddle, presumably so he can ride horse analogues on other planets.:wtf:

This one goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: Data and his inability to form contractions.
