"The Xindi" Line-by-Line

Hello, Welcome!

We recently finished our "Death Wish" Line-by-Line over in the Voyager Forum.

After each completed thread, using a Random Number Generator, we choose the person who gets the keys to the car and selects the next episode.

This time around, Random.org selected Mr. Laser Beam (I know you currently have a holiday name, but my browser dislikes the special characters in it ) Mr. Laser Beam chose "The Xindi" to be our next Line-by-Line adventure!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes, each episode is a separate thread.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread CoveTom, leandar, Enterprise1981, or I will run the randomizer to determine who will picks the next episode and get it going.

Archer: Previously on Enterprise...

A Xindi probe fires its weapon at Earth, causing immense damage.

In the briefing room...

Archer: There's been an attack on Earth. We've been recalled.

 

[Mr. Laser Beam]

Future Guy (to Archer): The probe was sent by the Xindi. They learned that their world would be destroyed by humans in 400 years.

 

[LeadHead]

Trip and Reed stand near the devastation in Florida.

Later on Enterprise...

Reed: Is there going to be some kind of service?

 

[Leandar]

Trip: My sister wasn't big on memorials. She was no more important than any of them.

 

[LeadHead]

Reed: She was more important to you. There's nothing wrong with admitting that.

 

[Orac]

[Storage area]

Soval: Are you suggesting this is a Xindi?

 

[Athena28]

ARCHER: I'd sure as hell like to find out.

 

[Leandar]

Soval (outside Starfleet): You're to return to Vulcan.

 

[Orac]

T'Pol: I believe that should be my decision.

 

[LeadHead]

In Admiral Forrest's office, we see Vulcan's killing each other on a monitor.

Soval: We received a distress call. Every crewman had been anatomically inverted. Their bodies splayed open, and they were still alive.

 

[Mr. Laser Beam]

(in Archer's ready room)

T'Pol: I want to remain aboard Enterprise. I've decided to resign my commission.

 

[LeadHead]

In an inspection pod flying by Columbia...

Forrest: Do you think you'll be comfortable with military on board?

 

[Athena28]

ARCHER: I don't have a problem with non-Starfleet personnel. I'm going to need all the muscle I can get when we cross into the Expanse.

 

[LeadHead]

In The Mess Hall...

Trip: I can't wait to get in there, Captain, to find the people that did this. And tell me we wont be tip-toeing around. Non of that non-interference crap T'Pol's always shoving down our throats.

 

[Athena28]

ARCHER: We'll do what we have to, Trip.

 

[LeadHead]

Xindi Council Chamber...

A group of Xindi of the various species are gathered around tables.

Humanoid: It could simply be a coincidence.

 

[Athena28]

REPTILIAN: You're being naive. Their planet is 50 light years away. It is not a coincidence.

 

[Orac]

Humanoid: How do you know your contacts gave you accurate information?

 

[LeadHead]

Insectiod: (Subtitled) It's the beginning of an invasion. Hundreds of Earth ships will follow.
