It definitely has a much lighter feel to it, much more of the old school adventure feel instead of the hammering cynicism that seems to be Picard and Discovery. I hope they stick with it.

I’m seeing it more as a spin off of Discovery. Set in the DiscoVerse. I know they say it’s Prime but I don’t see it.

All good then, Discovery is a spin-off of the original series. It‘s just looping back.

i love the backwards wave hair in STD and it gave him presence and majesty and gravitas and leadership.

New dress, what's with the rank (gold not red? straight to Lieutenant?), so many questions...
