It was a decent start to S2, the only thing that makes me not want to vote for it yet is the Ransom as a superbeing.

That's what I thought was funny! He was the shallowest superbeing imaginable.

The C-Plot of imploding the moon makes "Cupid's Errant Arrow" worth it alone. I don't really care for the A and B-Plots.

Of these, I think "Strange Energies" is overall stronger. It's just a slightly underwhelming premiere, but I think it all works.

With "Terminal Provocations", I looooooooove the Badgey story, as well as the Drookmani C plot, but the Fletcher thing is the worst arc LD's ever done.

It's funny, with Berman-era Trek, it's easy still to watch the scenes I like and skip over any bit I really don't care for. With Lower Decks, the pace is so fast that trying to skip anything is just frustrating, you really kind of have to submit to the flow of the episode. And Fletcher blocks the flow.

Tough choice, but not because they are both bad episodes. Weaker, yes, but certainly not bad.

I think I will vote for "Terminal Provocations" because I have a slight bit more fun with this one.

I missed the end of this one, though as I mentioned in another post, the bottom two episodes were pretty decent anyway. I liked Terminal Provocations more, I'm happy with the result.
