The Most Disliked Episode of LDS, 2023 Edition - Finals...

I'm going with "Twovix" this time. It's such a Lower Decks premise and, like many of the legacy episodes (is Voyager classed as a legacy ST show?) LDS riffs on or continues from, it takes the preposterous, ill thought through, and/or terrible thing, and questions it - ultimately making a much better ep. Plus, the Lower Deckers' excitement at Voyager is so endearing!

^^^Aw, all right, you talked me into it! I definitely got a kick out of the Voyager fanboying in "Twovix"! And that's its fourth point, so out it goes.

For the next round, I'm back to "Strange Energies," with Ransom and his literal "Planet Fitness." And T'Ana's inspired and so-in-character solution.

My vote this round goes to "A Few Badgeys More".

I love the episode, and NO season 4 episode should 'win' this game.

"A Few Badgeys More" stands far above these others for me. The amount Lower Decks is able to cram into an episode is crazy, they pay off so much here. This is like if TNG tried to do their final pay-off for the Borg, Q, and Lwaxana all in 22 minutes. (Actually that sounds great, maybe I should script it in anticipation of the day when AI can visualize it into a full episode...)

Now we just need Boimler's transporter twin to come back.

It is now over 53 and 1/2 hours since the last vote, therefore "A Few Badgeys More" has timed out and been saved.

My vote for this round is "Mugato, Gumato".

Great use of Boimler's strengths.

"Cupid's Errant Arrow" is the one remaining I think is great. This is actually a favorite of mine from the first season, I love the way it spins its tropes.

I'm torn between two, but not even face puffing Denobulans can compete against "Implode the moon" :guffaw: So, "Cupid's Errant Arrow" gets my vote.

I'll plump for Mugato, Gumato this time. It has some nice character work for the cast, and the random comeback from the anbo-jyutsu sticks from The Icarus Factor. :D

"Terminal Provocations" - 0
"Strange Energies" - 1

"Cupid's Errant Arrow" again. When I gave it my point before, I was only remembering the awesome Mariner/Boimler story, I had totally forgotten this was also the ep with the awesome "Captain Freeman negotiates with moon people" story.

I don't think any remaining episodes are terrible, but they aren't great either.

I'll go with Terminal Provocations, as it has the introduction of the awesome Badgey, and also a fun moment where they mention that the holodeck isn't just for hanging out with Sherlock Holmes, Einstein, and Stephen Hawking. :D

"Cupid's Errant Arrow" again for me. I love Rutherford and Tendi competing to get the T88 (especially their visions of how heroic they'll be for bringing them back to Cerritos), and then their team-up to block their transfer to the Vancouver :adore:
Now, where can I get some Trip Tucker sprinkles?

"Cupid's Errant Arrow" - 3
"Terminal Provocations" - 1

It was a decent start to S2, the only thing that makes me not want to vote for it yet is the Ransom as a superbeing.
