As far as I'm concerned, there are NO bad episodes of LOWER DECKS, only degrees of like or love. I'm going to start with a season 4 episode, because I think it's the best season.

My first vote is for "Twovix". For the same reasons I saved it in the season 4 round, so I will just copy and paste it here.

The amount of VOY references and homages was plenty, and the plot was hilarious.

The cardboard cutouts of the Voyager crew was a nice touch, despite them not having the full likeness there.

"Room For Growth" gets my vote. I love seeing bits & bobs of Cerritos as Mariner, Tendi, and Antigrav Boy crawl through the ship, and everything on the Dove is hilarious - I kind of hope we come across the ship and Toz again.

I thought "Room for Growth" was fun. I didn't think it was a bad ep at all.

My vote is for "Mugato, Gumato". It was a lot of fun, and allowed Boimler to play to his strengths.

Geez, I mostly check out for a few days to holiday, and somehow three "In The Pale Moonlight"-level classics end up in the finals! (Though I guess Lower Decks is thin on actual failures)

I'll start with the first of those classics to already have a point, "Twovix." Voyager finally has a satisfying finale!

Funnily enough, I would say four of these are finals-worthy, and "Room For Growth" is one of them. Sorry I can't just move us along by offing that one! But I treat the integrity of this game like I'm testifying in court (probably more seriously than I would treat court, tbh).:bolian:

I'm going to go with Twovix as well. It's funny, I typically have a pretty low threshold for meta or self-referential humor, but I actually really like this episode. It pokes fun at Voyager in just the right way. While some of these I think definitely are amongst the weakest of their season, I'm surprised to see Twovix among them.

Yeah, it's a confusing contest. Lots of great episodes in the final four. I was spoilt for choice.

In the case of LOWER DECKS, I agree that it can be confusing because I don't think there's a bad episode of the series. Which is part of the reason why it's called 'Most Disliked'... you can have all great choices, but one has to be last place. It's just a matter of what gets saved first.

Well, the first few episodes aren't the best IMO-- though the first two are both episodes somebody likes, so they didn't make this list! :shrug:But the series levelled up quickly. It's the first of the new Trek series that I really got into. I can't say I've loved every episode, but basically it's can't-miss TV for me.

It's a shame I'm not awake 24 hours, or even that I was more with it during the build-up to Xmas, as anything starring my hero Peanut Hamper is an insta-save. :bolian: ;)

"Room For Growth" has timed out. I don't love that one! The Delta Shift plot is one of the very few stories LD ever did that I flat-out disliked. (The only other flop that comes to mind is Fletcher in "Terminal Provocations." That might be it for me in terms of failures!)

I also looooooove Peanut Hamper, so this time I am inspired to switch my vote to "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption." I mentioned this list had three classics on it, and its really a coin toss between them as to where the point goes.

"Oh, so I haven't been violating the Prime Directive this whole time!"

Peanut Hamper is the WORST! But she's so good at it, that I can't help but be entertained (and thankful that she's not actually real) which is good enough for me to vote for "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption" too. Plus, I really like the concept of this episode :bolian:

A Mathematically Perfect Redemption is hilarious and is an easy save. Peanut Hamper is an awful person, but she is great for comedy.

Thank you, Sakonna, for handling the timed out episode.

My vote this round is "Twovix". Same reasons as before.

(As much as I want to just keep the game going, I can't vote outside what I actually would vote on first. Wouldn't feel right or honest.)

I'm not even tempted to end the round, as I can't stand Peanut Hamper! My vote goes to "Strange Energies," partly for the Mariner-Freeman interaction, partly for Tendi and Rutherfold -- and mostly for hyperpowered Ransom and his idea of a perfect world.

It has been 54 hours since the last vote, so "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption" has timed out.

New round begins.

My vote this round is "Twovix". Same reasons as the previous times.

I'll go with A Few Badgeys More next.

It was inspiring having my favourite LD villains team up escape the Daytrom Institute.

Jeffrey Combs's return as Badgey was very welcome.

I like that this was Badgey's version of Kirk in The Enemy Within from TOS, and also that all those bad guys want love too. :D
