The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - DS9 Final Rounds

This is tough! I suppose "Sacrifice Of Angels", for two small flaws.

1. They were thinking of this Ziyal thing all wrong. They were trying to make her death maximally tragic by presenting her as total sweetness and light, but instead she comes off like a bit of a simp. Her death is too obviously manipulative to have the desired impact.

2. Sisko should have some intent to contact the Prophets in the wormhole, rather than just being whisked in to their realm without any intention or thought.

"Not that I loved In The Cards less, but that I loved other episodes more." It's a good episode, but it does rely on younger, less experienced actors facing up to excellent actors. If there is any one flaw, the music cues are horrible.

This is the point where I feel things become very difficult.

"Ib The Hands of the Prophets" has many strengths but... Keiko (who often suffers from the parts she's given to play) seems a bit too unreasonable and uncompromising. The sudden prominence of a minor character is rather a plot give-away. This is Winn's first appearance and she gets away with it- as she will go on to do constantly - my preference is for baddies to get some form of comeuppance. Bareil lacks personality.
