I sorta expected that Noël Wells would play Tendi's ancestor, that seemed such an obvious set up.

Yeah, I was also expecting that once the Orion ship showed up. Alas.

Now that you guys are saying that, yeah, I also kind of expected her to play her ancestor, the way they set it up in the beginning. But I was also constantly aware of the fact that had she been part of the guest cast, we probably would have heard about it beforehand. Plus, it would have been super weird then to not also have Eugene Cordero in it somehow.

As I said in my initial reaction in the episode discussion thread, I‘m glad they were able to at least include them in this historic episode by way of their voice performance. They will forever be part of this special episode, and I‘m thankful for that.

Yeah you would have had to get Cordero in there if you had used Wells, but that is possible.
