Yes, I did, loved both seasons, brilliant series.
Riker didn't set up Picard for sexual encounters. He gave him a statue that would draw attention to Picard, knowing it would lead to confusion, knowing Picard would be like, "Yo, Riker, ya wanna scrub some toilets," and Riker would laugh the whole time he scrubbed.

It is absolutely funny. Friends embarrass each other all the time, it's an essential part of friendship in my experience. EDIT: By essential, I mean unavoidable, at least with men anyway, because men do stupid things for shits and giggles.
Riker giving the sex statue or whatever that thing is to Picard says, "I see you as a friend, good luck reading, LOLz." It makes for some great scenes. It would have been nice to see Picard get Riker back.
