Well at least we saw him wearing his suit (unlike in the ending of episode 10)... so there's that.

It would seem that the Diviner's suit has some modicum of intelligence, in that it was able to put him in stasis (as the Dauntless landing party pointed out) of its own accord.

Shall we assume that "Communications Relay" and "Relay Station" are interchangeable in Starfleet parlance?

"You're the Science Officer, so science it!" That's the line of the episode!

Finally got around to watching this week's episode.

EDITED TO ADD: A lot a tension in this episode and mystery-building. It has me looking forward to seeing what happens next week. I'll call it an 8.

Either that or his body went into a state of shock due to seeing Zero's real form.
It would be interesting to see if the Dauntless crew manage to restore his memory though - SF may have come up with a cure for being exposed to real sight of a Medusan (which wouldn't surprise me).
Plus, the Diviner could then team up with that Vau'Na'Kat ensign in disguise... or nothing of the kind with the Diviner will happen and she will mostly act alone and then take him away after potentially failing in her mission.

I'm still curious about the Protostar and Chakotay.
Janeway's flashback seemed to imply he would be going to the Delta Quadrant on his own... not sure if he had any crew to begin with (one would think he did).

I’m sure they’ll explain more as the show goes on, but if you pay close attention to the clues they’ve been dropping, the timeline makes perfect sense.

Chakotay goes out on the maiden voyage post-Voyager, around 2381 or 82. Chakotay goes through an unstable time anomaly and is sent 50 years forward in time, lands in a post-apocalyptic Solum where the Protostar is captured, loaded with a future Trojan horse weapon, then sent back in time through the same time anomaly but gets lost, landing a little too far in the past. The Diviner follows, spends years searching for it, creates Gwyndala, keeps searching until Dal and Rok discover it by accident in 2383.

But it is a little bit wierd that Starfleet reinstated him back and even promoted him as a captain, after he was Maquis dissident.

Forgiveness is a big thing in the Federation. They specifically talk about that in this episode.

We also have a long history of people willingly or unwillingly going rogue and being allowed back. Spock in The Menagerie, Picard with the Borg. Word handing in his resignation to go murder Klingons etc.

The Federation is big on both forgiving and second chances. Janeway reinstated Paris as well. With the massive losses in the Dominion War having experienced officers is needed.

And I'm sure Chakotay's actions while in the Maquis were on the up and up. He wasn't a flat out terrorist like Eddington was.

Why afraid? I think this may be a very good episode, at least I'm curious how they will get out of that.

Earlier I said that there's no way PRO will deal with the destruction of Romulus (which is due to occur any day now) because it's way too adult for a kids' show like that. This is another.

Seriously. How the hell is PRO supposed to deal with the :censored:ing BORG? A merciless collective intelligence that kills or assimilates anything and everything in its path. You think kids can deal with that shit? That'd be like showing a Rob Zombie movie to a toddler.

Well, they have already dealt with enslavement, even child slave labor, and severe parental abuse.

They are not going to show an assimilation like in First Contact or on some episodes of Voyager, though.
I think this episode offers a chance to get the capabilities of the characters come to the fore, though, as they will be tested against such an opponent.

i saw First Contact in the theater when I was 9, I had no trouble with it and loved the movie. Kids can definitely deal with the Borg.

Sounds like any zombie film out there. Kids deal with more intense stuff than that, especially things like Five Nights at Freddie's, Bendy and the Ink Machine and such. I even know kids who watch "The Walking Dead" and the like. So, yeah, however PRO deals with this will be nothing new to kids out there.

I thought that Janeway and Chakotay looked really poorly animated then it was revealed they were holodeck recreations hence why they looked like video game characters. Nice touch.

They seem to find an inactive cube. Maybe it only activates at the end and they make it out in time or something like that.

Present day Prodigy is set 5 years before the destruction of Romulus. We still have a while.

Prodigy is rated PG in Canada (at least according to Crave), the same rating given to TNG and Voyager. Not sure what it is rated in other countries.

The title is 'Let Sleeping Borg Lie', so they'll probably be regenerating most of the episode or something. It all depends on how the Borg are written
