This is the end of the line folks. Another Trek series ends prematurely, and it was animated, so it could have gone on much longer, which makes its cancellation even more disappointing. Enjoy the series finale and whatever surprises it may bring. And keep in mind that Trek will live on, and if we're lucky, maybe we haven't seen the last of this crew.

I really enjoyed that episode. I loved the travel through the rift and the thing I appreciated the most was while everyone was craving a guest star, we got a full fledged Lower Decks episode. We got to enjoy these characters one more time, and there was a little bit of Season 3 in there with the California Class love. I do think it got a little bit sentimental at the end and the 4th wall breaking almost took me out, but overall I thought it was nice.

This was the biggest surprise:

LDS Klingons turn into Disco Klingons when hit by the quantum shifting wave, and the Bird of Prey turns into a Disco Bat of Prey

This strongly suggests that LDS says Disco is not prime, at least LDS and Disco are not the same universe

Wow, they managed to more than stick the landing. A 10 from me. I wish the entire season, let alone series, could have had this tone of some comedy without outright parody or failing cringe humor. And it manages to bring season 5 above how I'd rank seasons 1 and 4.

And the extra cherry on top was DISCOVERY quasi-confirmed as an alt-universe.

Otherwise, a good end for the show. Except for Boimler's ugly-ass beard still being there. I was especially happy to see that Bajoran in sickbay again.

That is such a perfect "Catch Phrase" for Jack Ransom.

"Engage the CORE!"

Maybe, if Lower Decks comes back, there can be some real romance between Jack Ransom & Mariner.

We knew that in the first episode, that there is a little bit of attraction between her & Jack.

Maybe that can become a thing sometime in the future.

Does this make Jack Ransom the most Buff/Fit 'StarFleet Captain' that we've seen to date?
