Saw this pointed out on Reddit, but we're close to the launch of the Protostar

This Episode's Stardate is 59376.9, the Protostar launched 59749.1

We're also around 60 stardates to what LDS writers consider the new year, so 2382

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some crossovers in the last few eps of the season as we get closer to syncing up with Picard and Prodigy. They did seem to tease some big guest voices.

I was about to say that I doubt there'd be any meaningful connections to Picard or Prodigy, but then I remembered Prodigy did mention the Cerritos helping out on a mission.

Are multiple pronunciations considered unusual?
To me, no.

But some people are anal about it, and believe there is one way.

I'm usually pretty flexible, and I'll look up multiple ways to pronounce it.

It's the same with 'Aluminium' vs 'Aluminum'.

Personally, I think the British spelling & pronounciations of 'Aluminium' makes alot more sense over the American 'Aluminum'.

But that's my preference due to making Al fit in pronounciation with the rest of the Periodic Table.

The voice actor in TAS didn’t know how to say Orions properly and no one caught it. That or they just didn’t care enough to change it
Given the shoestring budget, it was probably too expensive to have them read the lines again lol.

Perfectly OK, but not as good as the first one.

The stuff with T'Lyn and Rutherford was easily the best stuff. Mariner coming clean to Boimler in 2nd. Also, the Blue Orion stuff was also pretty good.

The gang is back together, and Tendi's family are rich but not in the Syndicate.

I’m glad that Gabrielle Ruiz is finally being given more to do with T’Lyn. She played one of the best secondary characters in Crazy Ex-Girlfirend. I’m still holding out hope that they will somehow find a way for T’Lyn to sing… Gabrielle has a gorgeous voice.

You sure about that last one? Because I remember someone getting emphatic not too long ago that true Klingons don't sing.
Definitely wasn't me saying Klingons don't sing.

I'm sure there are a few who don't think they sing (despite seeing Worf, Kor, the Rotarran crew, the bridge crew of Martok's ship in "ONCE MORE UNTO THE BREACH", a LOT of Klingons in "APOCALYPSE RISING", and more sing), but I think, generally speaking, Klingons sing.

Proudly.

Trust me, I know all that.

After skipping almost all of season 1, and seasons 2, 3, and 4, decided to come back for the last season (I think it was episode 5 of S1 that annoyed me to the point I didn't come back). Just a question--if the planet had no need of wealth anymore because of replicator tech, why would that discarded wealth be of any use to the Orions either? Do the Orions not have replicators? They didn't clarify this was latinum or anything unreplicable
FWIW, I'm very 50/50 on STLD, and I'd argue the peak of the show is the last three episodes of season 1 followed by seasons 2 and 3, which each only have 1-2 weak episodes. Season 4 is then a massive drop off into heavy mediocrity, but at least avoids the wantonly bad lows of season 1.

Just had a rewatch now the BluRay has arrived and had a little laugh at seeing the rather charred Billups burst into flame after an 'altercation' between him and his new pet dragon (gifted to him by his mother).
I also laughed at the blue Orreeons telling Tendi and her crew to "Get your hands off our booty!"
