I don't think I can remember ever seeing an episode (of anything) designed to feel like a "clip show," without actually being one. Usually, it's the other way around: a "clip show" that tries to hide the fact that it's just a frame around recycled footage.

You’re right but it can happen. I’ve been working my way through Friends on Netflix and they put out a genuine clip show every season. In Season 8 though, Rachel turns 30 and the characters reminisce about their own 30th birthdays in the style of a clip show, but with 100% new material.

There's an episode of Community that is told in the style of a clip show, but the scenes they flashback to are not from any previous episode. Every scene is new to the episode even though they are clip flashbacks presented the way a sitcom would normally do a clip show, as characters remember it happening despite being new to the viewer. It's very clever.
