News Season 3 teaser

Some sources say "Summer 2022" for S2 of LD. Obviously no overlap with SNW, but hopefully no substantial gap either.

Then likely the rest of PROD S1. DSC and PIC are slated for "sometime on 2023"

I just read a bleedingcool article (that included a link and discussion of the latest ready room episode), where the article states an Aug 12 release date. But I haven't been able to find any confirmation anywhere.

They'll be at comic-con on July 23rd, I imagine we'll get full trailer and release date then.

Also pretty sure Wil just said 'coming soon'.

Conclusion
The upcoming Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 is expected in Summer 2022. Currently, fans are speculating that August will be the release date for the season. However, no details have been confirmed at the time of writing.

I watched the ready room, Wil never said Summer, he said 'coming soon'.

But summer makes sense based on seasons 1 and 2.

Love the poster that riffs on the Search for Spock poster.

Isn't it the Romulan ship from Nemesis?
Kinda-sorta.

It was supposedly the "Valdore-Type" in the movie while STO created their own version and called it the Mogai Class.

Beta canon says that the ship seen in Nemesis was called 'The Valdore', but it's now assumed to be a Moagi Class.

The Valdore being a Mogai class first appeared in the novels, STO just borrowed the name from there.

Valdore-Type was just the name Memory-Alpha gave it because it had no class name given in the movie or any BTS info.

It's M-A policy to do that with any class not given an official name, use the name of the most prominent example of the class. They call the Centaur a 'Centaur-Type' for example. It's better than labelling it as 'Unknown Class 6' or whatever.

Other classes given to it in non-canon material are just straight up Valdore-Class and Norexan-class

Named after the character from Enterprise as well. :)
It starts the first day of Star Trek Vegas as well. Probably a coincidence since the Vegas convention is no longer under the evil hands of Paramount.
