I am dying to see the Starship Titan on video! I've seen the design but that mega monster of a ship needs to be on film!!!!!

So I have been really down about the end of Star Trek and I just can’t get into the whole prequel movie thing they are doing now.

Well, that's where Trek is headed for the forseeable future, so you might as well get used to it.

One of two things will happen:

1. Trek XI is a reasonable-to-huge success. Paramount re-builds the Trek audience around that success - more movies, probably a TV series - but sticking to the 23rd C and if the continuity varies, that will be canon from now on.

2. Trek XI flops. Paramount shelves Trek, not forever, but for the next five to ten years at least.

One thing that will NOT happen is Jonathan Frakes or Titan. That's all about TNG and TNG has the stink of failure upon it. Paramount won't have anything to do with it. Or DS9 (which I'd love to see a movie about) or VOY or ENT. We can chat about those things but nobody should get their hopes up about ever seeing those again.

Maybe decades from now, re-cast. That would be the only way they'd be back.
