Old TV shows/ Series you remember watching.

Does anyone remember the Original Hawaii Fuve-O with Jack Lord?

Or Kojak?
Yes and yes.
In the case of 5-0, when my dad worked nights in the late 60s my mother would keep me up to watch it with her (I was about 3 or 4) because it scared her and she didn't like watching it alone.

That's how I coped with watching ALL of the original Lost In Space. The first season was the only real decent season then the show just seemed to change after Jonathan Harris became popular by the end of season 1 the studio thought people wanted more of Smith and his antics..

I could see myself watching season 1 again that's the only bearable one.

I've said it before (in this very thread) and I'll say it again:

Lynda Carter has still got it. :adore:

She is an absolute BEAST. I mean this literally: she could still play Wonder Woman today if she so chose. I am not joking, in any way, shape or form. She has GOT.IT.ALL.

I doubt she would want to..... The most recent thing I saw her in was Sky High and even there she looked good. She's beautiful

One who could play Wonder Woman today would be Jessica Carter Altman, Lynda Carter's daughter is a Lawyer/singer and looks just like her mom when she starred in Wonder Woman.

Was Joe Bob Briggs on USA or another network.
Joe Bob hosted MonsterVision on TNT. It was a creature feature type of show. Could this be what you had in mind?

Geez, that takes me back.

I used to think that the ship from Ark II was the same model as the Landmaster from Damnation Alley but it's not.

(The Landmaster actually was not a model. It was a real vehicle!)
I remember Damnation Alley. I actually watched it when it aired on MonsterVision.

If the Landmaster vehicle could be considered a character, it made a cameo appearance in Get a Life, a comedy about an adult slacker living with his parents and having a career as a paperboy. In that appearance the Landmaster vehicle was turned into an evil mechanical paperboy who put all of the human paperboys out of work by outcompeting them, by being ruthlessly more efficient in delivering papers. It was memorable and really silly.

Get a Life was on the Fox Channel. I watched quite a bit of shows that Fox aired when Fox started broadcasting as the fourth major tv network.

Someone mentioned Ark II here a while back and I found my DVD copies of that, it came as a box set bundled with Jason Of Star Command and Space Academy

For its time Jason had really good special effects for a half hour kids show. Ark II had a little rover that came out of the Ark that had on its dashboard among other things an applause button. Deliberate or accidental production goof there I think.
