I used to think that the ship from Ark II was the same model as the Landmaster from Damnation Alley but it's not.
(The Landmaster actually was not a model. It was a real vehicle!)

Yep and not a very reliable one either. Those odd triangle like wheels were real too and people actually tried copying the idea.

I adored this show as a kid. A friend bought me the dvd set, but I've been too scared of it sucking to me now to watch it.
I was about 10 when I heard the news that there was going to be an Archie cartoon on T.V. I lost my mind!
OH go on watch it..... If just for nostalgia. I mean you could just watch it in the background while doing other things that won't make it suck so much then if that is how you feel.
