Sounds reasonable.I'm filing a lawsuit for the horrible stress I underwent thinking those things might be in Star Trek.![]()

I agree.I like these designs. Honors the old look while making them look more like extraterrestrials rather than dudes with makeup in their foreheads.
I agree.
What would benefit DSC from maintaining the status quo of designs?

At least they are a semi-interesting alien species, with some version of culture, vs. the Tak-Tak (shudders) or Kazon (yeah, Delta Klingons) or even the Tellarites.I can't say I'm all that impressed with these new Klingons. Whoever the costume designer is needs to lay off the bling entirely.
But at least they don't look like that guy from Voyager who looked like an actual turd.

Jon Pertwee did consider the Draconians the best looking aliens seen during his term on Doctor Who.![]()

I think it will go better when we see them in action, rather than just stills that can be picked apart to death, autopsied and fluroscoped.I never noticed that before, but those Voyager guys, do look Sontarans.
As for the Discover Klingons, I like them. I think there's enough familiar elements to make them recognizable as Klingons, but with new elements that make them feel more alien.
Voyage to the Bottom of the SeaStill looking a little sea monster-ish, but not fussed. I like the pointed ears, a la the Kelvin timeline Klingons (which had the BEST costuming ever, although the DSC guys are obviously dressed to impress rather than to kick in some intergalactic interlopers)
