NCAA Football 2018

So what did we learn from week 1?

Miami was overrated.
Saban has a temper (who knew?)
Penn State might be overrated...
@jenji120 is going to have another long season

USC playing at Stanford next week...ugh.

I think we’re going to get clobbered, but I’m willing to be surprised.

I always think of USC has this dominant team, but Stanford was better last night. Still, I appreciated the lack of flags and thought it was a well played football game. USC is going to win a lot of games this year though. Also, watch out of Arizona St. They've probably been the surprise of the conference so far.

Geez the network is promoting USC/Texas like it’s Ali/Frazier III.

I guess they have to hype this mediocre prime time matchup somehow...

So, what did we learn this weekend?

Alabama and Clemson...YAWN.

LSU moving up after a big time win at Auburn.

USC is officially in a "rebuilding year". We'll be lucky to go 7-5.

Penn State and Stanford moving on up.

Penn State's first real test coming up next weekend.

OSU v PSU at Happy Valley.

I don't think our (PSU's) D-Line can handle OSU's O line.

We should have taken them last year when we had them ,,,, it will be tough this year even playing at home.

I think PSU is ranked too high at #10.

In Trace we trust!!

Stanford got lucky last week. Tonight’s game will be really tough. They need to play better than they have the last two weeks.

So what did we learn yesterday?

Clemson may be in trouble, depending on how their QB recovers.
Notre Dame is for real.
Penn State...Jesus, Mary, and Joseph... run it up the middle on 4th and 5? Why? WHY??
Georgia and Oklahoma take care of business.

This makes the big 12 more interesting.

I guess we need the obvious top 4 to mess up before the more interesting teams enter the conversation. Second tier of teams now is so much more interesting than first.
