Retrospect tough to watch? I like to agree. The story and the production seems motivated by some personal issues of the writer and or producer/director.

A much more clearer attempt to entertaining peoples minds is of course The Killing Game Part 1 & 2 - at least i like to say so (here ) Those two episodes deliver and provide the Startrek Voyager experience (Janeway is stranded in the Delta Quadrant of our galaxy alongside a bunch of some nice guys and girls and of course the doctor) at a higher and much more explosive standard

Janeway is a Fighter u hell and adorable as well
