Yeah, wherever she's in, she's always playing the same character. It had to work somewhere, and luckily it was Star Trek. Everywhere else it just looks and sounds terrible. Her acting in SG-1 has always bugged me. Very awkward, and she always seemed on the verge of tears. Then I saw ENT, and it was the same thing. At least it wasn't so bad for playing a Vulcan.
Sounding like that fit perfectly into ENT S3 where T'Pol has a serious drug problem. In S1&2 she's pretty much a standard unemotional Vulcan, which is not a problem for someone like Blalock, who can't do believable emotions (facial expressions and vocal performance).Surely sounding like she's on the verge of tears is worse for a supposedly emotionally repressed Vulcan,
But that blocking...man, she is great at blocking.(facial expressions and vocal performance).
Finally? People used to think she could? Finally, other people are realizing Jolene Blalock can not act. Ishta was worse than T'Pol.

I like her fine as T'Pol. It's the perfect role for her -- subdued and without a lot of emotional expression. Mostly, she just looks hot.
She's been pretty consistently terrible in everything else I've seen her in, though, including Stargate SG-1. I remember tolerating her first appearance, but by the time she appeared again in season eight, I thought she was pretty awful.
