For All Mankind Trailer - Apple TV- SPOILER

Barrett Carnahan has joined For All Mankind Season 5. The actor will recur on the Apple TV+ alt-history drama as
Marcus, a recent high school graduate living on Mars.

Carnahan joins fellow new cast members:
  • Sean Kaufman as an
    older version of Kelly Baldwin and Alexei Poletov’s son, Alex
  • Ruby Cruz as
    Lily Dale, the youngest daughter of Miles (Toby Kebbel) and Amanda Dale (Shannon Lucio)
  • Ines Asserson as
    A.J. Jarrett, a US Marine training for a space mission;
  • Tyler Labine as
    Fred, a Mars Peacekeeper;
  • Mireille Enos as
    Celia Boyd, a member of the Peacekeeper Security Force on Mars
  • Costa Ronin as
    Lenya, a Soviet politician and former cosmonaut.
Not sure about the others, but we've known about Ronin's casting since the summer. I remember because I was delighted that yet another alum of The Americans was joining the show.

Casting related, but by no mean news, I just wanted to mention how strange it’s been since I recognized the actress who plays Aleida is the current narrator of Antiques Roadshow.

I finally started watching For All Mankind a week or two ago. I'm already up to the middle of the fourth season. Soon I'll be caught up. Great show!

glad you enjoy it, no need to hurry though...

Matt, any word on when Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and For All of Mankind return. –Foster
As you probably saw earlier today, Strange New Worlds is on track for a summertime return, while For All Mankind … well, Apple TV+ still isn’t offering up even an approximate timetable for Season 5.

Do you consider the Danny stuff to be great too? :p

Supposedly due to negative reaction to Danny, Ronald Moore decided to double down on him.

I don't like Danny but it's a good "don't like". They did a good job making me fed up with him and his nonsense. I'm not missing him in Season 4.

Margo is my favorite character.

More thoughts when I have more time and after I get to the end of S4E10.

Ah Danny. :brickwall:

I have to admit, my favourite character was Gordo. I was really rooting for him to make a go of his life after everything that happened.

I really loved how, being loosely based on Gordon Cooper, Dennis Quaid played him in a film about his life. In real life, Quaid played Gordon Cooper in The Right Stuff, one of my favourite films about the early days of space exploration. It was a nice little nod

Margo is my favorite character.
She's fantastic.

Caught up! What a 40-episode ride this was! Looking forward to Season 5, whenever it comes out.

I'll definitely be re-watching the first four seasons soon. Too much to process to talk about it now. But looks like I'll be playing catch-up in this thread. This is now one of my top-favorite shows. Up there next to Mad Men and Better Call Saul.

"What about Star Trek?" I'm still a huge fan of it, always will be. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY. More recently, DSC and PIC. Lots of other sci-fi shows I like too. Babylon 5, The X-Files, 12 Monkeys, Battlestar Galactica. But as far as I'm concerned, For All Mankind is where it's at.

What i love is the "hard" Sci Fi they're trying to do, i.e. keeping it as realistic as possible. Of course they can't always for drama reason ( reality can be often enough boring and un-cinematic) but they try at least and it, alongside with great characters and actors, makes for a better show.

Not many shows pull this off, Expanse is the only other one i can think off and they have such good writing and cinematography that realism gets exciting on its own much like For All Mankind.

I just wish the whole series was on physical media I only have season 1 and zero desire to sign up to streaming to watch the rest
I was just about to make a similar post when I saw this two month old one. I also have season 1, and have been waiting for the rest. I've searched all over, but can't seem to find any news.
