Woulda been #1 if not for that ****** Percy!Just look at Acolyte; the numbers supposedly weren't great at launch, and yet still somehow manages to be #2 on the whole platform?

Actually, yep."it’s light years better than The Acolyte"

NopeActually, yep.
If by "nope", you mean "yes" then I agree with you. Skeleton Crew is easily my favorite live action Star Wars project that Disney has produced and The Acolyte is easily my least favorite.Nope![]()
I liked Skeleton Crew, but it only beats out Resistance for me. If I want to watch Goonies I'll watch Goonies. In the end, it added zilch to the universe and is easily skipable on rewatches. Acolyte is way more interesting despite some poor acting here and there. If by "nope", you mean "yes" then I agree with you. You never know, Jod could turn up again... somewhere. In the end, it added zilch to the universe and is easily skipable on rewatches.
I've usually try to be optimistic, and ignore all the doom and gloom, but in this case it sounds like those people were right, which is a shame because I really enjoyed this and it deserved a better reception.
I appreciate Lucasfilm for giving different types of shows, but I have to wonder if perhaps this and The Acolyte were just too far removed from the Skywalker or Mandalorian storylines.
I have to admit, I am a little shocked to see Star Wars get this mediocre of numbers, I had thought the franchise was still huge and that pretty much anything with the name Star Wars in it was a guaranteed hit.
To be clear, I'm about to start declaring the franchise dead or anything like, I'm sure overall it's doing fine, I'm just realizing it's not quite what it used to be.
Calls to fire Kathleen Kennedy will never cease to be ridiculous.
I think that would have worked a few years ago. Elevating John Favreau to a higher position in the food chain when The Mandalorian was hot could have I think done wonders. But now I think it's the fact that people just don't have consumer confidence in the product anymore, and part of that reason is just how stubborn it has been at accepting the need for change.Or maybe not fire her but instead bring in someone to handle the creative side of things, kind of like how DC Studios has James Gunn handling the creative side with Peter Safran focusing on the business side. Dave Filoni might be the best options since he's already involved and most his stuff has gotten some of the best responses of any of the series.
Chief Creative Officer.Dave Filoni is in charge of the creative side of things last I heard.
To be fair we've seen all of one thing from that universe.Jayson1 said:To top it off we are seeing what a good change in leadership can bring in the DCU with James Gunn.
