Entire Franchise Marathon Preferences

After a failed attempt to watch or rewatch the entire Star Trek franchise with someone about 10 years ago (only got as far as the end of TOS season two before stuff got in the way), I'm going to attempt it again sometime soon-ish. For those of you who have done or thought about doing this, what order would you watch the shows in when they overlap? Basically, once you have more than one ST show running at a time, would you alternate between the two or more shows based on episode broadcast date, or would you watch an entire series of one show and then watch the entire season of the other concurrently running show(s)? Both options have their ups and downs, but I'm curious what you all think. If there's another option you like, please share.

Atm I'm doing a lot of rewatch. Maybe not the entire franchise. ButI mix it.
Like one or a few episodes of one series, then one or a few episodes of another series.
It can be tyring to watch all seasons and episodes of one series at once I think.
Although it depends on the series. Earlier this year I rewatched all seven seasons of DS9 without much breaks.

I did it years back and went kind of in broadcast order. But not really. But kind of. I dealt with it series by series at least.

TOS S01-03
(No TAS ‘cause it wasn’t available on DVD at the time)
TOS Movies 1-6
TNG
TNG Movies 1-4
DS9
VOY
ENT

and then TAS sometime later when the DVD set was released.

These days I’d do the same, but tacked on the end would be:

DSC (plus any relevant Short Treks)
PIC (again, with Short Treks)
LDS
PRO
SNW

Then the Very Short Treks I guess. What a way to finish that would be.

My most recent rewatch, I did TNG/TNG movies/DS9/VOY in chrono order. I actually quite liked the "what else is going on in the galaxy" feel, as well as a reminder for how I watched it originally. More or less.

I've never tried to marathon the whole entire franchise, that's a bit too huge of a project for me.

But I did do a simultaneous rewatch of a few of the shows recently, alternating between TOS, TNG, Voyager and Enterprise with every episode, and that worked out pretty well. If one of the series was having a bad season I still had the others to enjoy, plus it meant that I was able to start watching the later shows immediately and didn't have to wait forever for them. I even threw TAS into the mix after a while as well.

The main reason I did it this way is because I wanted to compare them side by side and judge them fairly, to see if TOS stands up next to the 90s shows, if Voyager was really a step down from TNG, and if Enterprise actually was a victim of fans getting tired of Trek after 14 years straight. My findings: Voyager definitely shines brighter alongside TNG than it did alongside DS9 back in the day. Release order does have its drawbacks.

I'm not sure this plan would work out so well with a dozen simultaneous series though. You'd be trapped in season 1 for 200 episodes.

If I were to do this:

TOS
Movies I-VI
TNG/DS9/VOY + Movies VII-X (going by release order)
PIC

I see Discovery as its own thing. So, I'd watch it separately from those. I'd fit Section 31 in after "Terra Firma". And that's what I plan to do anyway, whenever I re-watch of DSC in the future.
