Well, that definitely sounds like something someone would say on the internet.
I'm having difficulty reading the claim. You mean if there are people who don't like DSC but like SNW? If that's the case I'm one of them and there are plenty more. Maybe not here.
SNW seems to be more universally liked. DSC isn't but the people who like DSC seem to be more invested(?) in the show. It's sort of like the Andor dynamic I think. Some people liked it others didn't but the people who enjoyed it really enjoyed it.

I like many parts of SNW more than many parts of Disco, so overall SNW is better. But both have dreadful things in them as well.
I like Strange New Worlds more than I've liked pretty much any Trek since TOS. It feels like it's the Trek show I've always wanted. I feel like ever episode should have a dedication at the end.... For Rodney.
Discovery is much further down on my list. But I do like it. I can find something to like about every Trek series. I appreciate that it's a series that genuinely tries to do things a little differently. Some of it works. Some of it doesn't. But I never feel like I've wasted my time watching an episode.

SNW is a spin-off of Discovery. They're cut from the same cloth.

They can't seem to grasp someone can dislike/hate DSC, but also like SNW.
It's me. I'm the one.
I dislike DIS (I don't hate it - and I genuinely do like season 4 - but as a whole I more dislike than like it).
And I freakin' LOVE SNW.
SNW is awesome. There are parts of Discovery that I like and parts that I don't like.
I wish these polls had a "so-so" option. I just rewatched Discovery and I find the show average. It's not as bad as the "haters" say it is, but it does still have some flaws that are holding it back. SNW is still early to judge but I've liked what I've seen so far, especially M'Benga and that War episode and the Lower Decks crossover and Subspace Rhapsody. I still want an Ortega Focused episode though, and they can use Pike more than they have. I do feel like something was lost between Discovery Season 2 Pike and SNW Pike.
