^Our world's NASA may be struggling, but I think that in a world where there's been two alien invasions in as many years they might just have gotten a budget increase.Just exploring. I'm not married to the idea.
I pivoted from NASA, because NASA isn't what it used to be.
If Carol is getting her powers off a leaking alien/alien technology, NASA hasn't been about manned flight for years. So if we actually want her in an earthmade ship, maybe have Danvers working for a new billionaire, Stark, China or S.H.I.E.L.D which will actually propel this woman physically at an alien encounter like a hero more so than an abducteee?
All those fake slingshots still supposedly taking alien hardware into that sun are maybe still decades from reaching the sun.
Brie Larson
I'm not sure I've seen her in anything looking through her IMDB Filmography. Heard the name before but that's all.
Was she in the final Yahoo! TV season of Community that I didn't see? If not I don't recall her when I saw the network episodes.
I do plan to see Kong next year.
Can someone recommend a few choice movies where she's a standout/breakout character? Thanks.
I had hoped that Katheryn Winnick would get the role. We may never know if she even got to read for it. She's 38 and would thus be more credible as a USAF officer with a lot of years in the military. But her age probably worked against her, in the eyes of the studio.
I was actually wondering to myself earlier about how they'll introduce the name and the outfit and make it make sense.
Frankly, the Bugle aspect of her backstory feels odd and out of place. Air Force Colonel, Secret Agent, head of NASA Security, writer? The Air Force Officer angle is good, she's a veteran, but Carol was also a reporter for the Daily Bugle. if we skip to the end, would the character be allowed to overlap-on/use the Bugle sets from Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man II?
Sony and Marvel are really friendly, right?
I also watched The Room. I have no idea how that movie got a nomination for Best Picture. I didn't see Brie Larson, though, just some guy named Tommy Wiseau. So, I watched the prequel movie last night, "Room". I did NOT like all the changes they made to the character. Carol Danvers' back story is NOTHING like that in the comics!!!![]()
Was Mary-Jane Watson going to be in this film?
Shailene Woodley had been cast to play Mary-Jane Watson, but all of her scenes were removed from the final film. It was decided her character was not essential to this story.

Carol vs. J Jonah Jameson, just saying.
I'm reading that Jk Simmons is still interested in coming back.
I also saw the name Hugh Laurie speculatively mentioned.
A weird thing on Voyager is that apparently during/after the battle of Wolf 359, the Borg sent "prisoner transports" back to the Delta Quadrant full of captured and assimilated Federation citizens, before the Cube was shut down, and then destroyed near Earth.
The Chitari are an end around on Kree for some reason, not sure why since Agents of SHIELD talks about the Kree all the time.... Kevin Feige says that the Kree and Skrulls are a shared property as long as Fox holds the rights tot he Fantastic Four. So what if fighter pilot Captain Danvers wound up on the other side of the galaxy after the battle of New York, derived super powers from Iron Man blowing up the Chitari fleet, meets the Guardians, and finally gets home between Avengers 3 part one and part 2?
I do like the idea of Marvel being her air force call sign.
Saw this about Amazing Spider-Man 2 while looking into who is JJJ this time around. (Still uncast.)
She is on the DVD extras, or locked in a vault?
