Bad experiences at sporting events

If we're talking weather, I'd have to say the week I spent in Chicago for opening day 2011. I still had a good time, but it was like 22 degrees the whole week. Very cold, and wet, and probably the most miserable weather I've been in at a baseball game. (The only reason I went that early was because it was literally the only week out of the entire season where the Cubs and Whitesox were in town at the same time.) I remember I got off the red line outside US Cellular Field and there was very thick fog all over the place. Couldn't even see the stadium.
Considering your avatar, I'd guess you were very disappointed.

^ The Yankees weren't in any of the games I saw that week. I was there to see the ballparks, I didn't really care who was playing.

Packers vs Cowboys Thanksgiving Day Game '94: My dad is from Wisconsin and a Packers fan, but I was born and raised in Texas. I was a Packers fan but I also liked the Cowboys because I grew up there, they were like my second team. I'd been to a couple of Cowboys games before but this was my first Packer game, though I had been to training camp in Green Bay. My dad was and still is friends with an old Cowboys player from the 60's/70's names Walt Garrison and he hooked us up with some great seats on about the 40 yard line on the second row. Actually sitting next to Bill Bate's wife and kids. I was 14 and very excited, I got geared out in my brand new Favre throwback jersey and my cheesehead and we went to the game. Even though Dallas were starting some unknown redheaded Howdy Doody looking third string quarterback (Aikman and whoever his backup was had been injured) they beat the Packers. That wasn't the bad part though. I had gone to the bathroom and as I was walking back down to my seat a few Cowboys fans started jeering me. I wasn't bothered, I was a good sport about it and you don't wear the opposing team's jersey into the stadium if you're not prepared to take a little trash talk. Some guy said something like "Go back to Wisconsin Brett" which I actually thought was funny and I was laughing along with it. The next thing I know I get hit in the back with a cup full of beer, which I didn't think was funny and just as I turned I got smacked right in the face with a cup full of ice which sent me to the ground and down a few steps. My dad came running up the stairs to see if I was alright and likely beat the hell out of somebody but security were already all over guys. It made the rest of the game kind of a bummer but Bate's wife was really nice and gave me a blanket and apologized all game long for the fans. As many kept yelling at me as if it were my fault those idiots got thrown out. It started my 20+ year hatred of the Cowboys and their fans.

Oh yeah, that Howdy Doody looking third string was Jason Garrett who is now as we all know the Cowboy's head coach (or head puppet for Jones), so I find it especially hilarious that they've been so dismal under his reign. And every other reign in the past 20 years or so.

My dad and I were in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago and he got hit in the arm by a foul ball. That was the bad part. (And if he hadn't raised his arm at just the right time, it probably would have hit him in the face.)

The GOOD part was that the first aid team was on him in seconds (literally) and were very helpful. So were the fans sitting near us.
