GO PITTSBURGH STEELERS!

Im sorry I am just very protective of my home town and fav team. I was taking alot of mess from others and was a little sensitive.

Steelers nget the six pack!

I hope you aren't refering to me because I never gave you any mess.
People just debated the theory of the Steelers being the most popular
team and I stated I didn't find them interesting.

You however were making snide jabs at team names and such.

And yes, they were infact outplayed by a long shot.
Bad calls won them the game.

You and others. Cry me a river. Next year you guys get another shot. Good luck.

Lol, see. You're the one making the childish remarks.

Jolan Tru.

kinda his MO. Any football talk with him ends that way, plus him pointing the finger at you. Easier to just walk away from this one, you aren't going to leave satisfied...

 Agreed, I'm glad I grew out of the "My Jock's bigger" phase and can
just watch it all without having to be the one "All up in their grill!" *Chestpound*. lol

If they outplayed the champs they would be the champs, they are not!

Blah blah blah.

Someone watched the game with gold-colored glasses.

Just celebrate your championship without taking away the Cards' deserved props. They did outplay the Steelers, and deep down in that place where you can't lie to yourself, you know it too.

I'm out.

Oh the hate. The reason my jock is bigger is called genetics. You outgrew nothing. when you get beat you revert to BS . So please revel in it. While I revel in nothing but WIN.

:adore:

Congratulations to the men, women, and children of Steeler Nation. To the fans of the Arizonal Cardinals I also want to congratulate your team on an exceptional season.

Congrats to the Steelers, but James Harrison should have been ejected from the game for his punch. And since they didn't do that, he should be massively fined.

He will. RG is really big on improving the public image of the NFL and it's players.
A show like that on the biggest TV stage in the world won't go unnoticed by him.

They did outplay the Steelers

In the fourth quarter, yes. The first three quarters were ours.

We were lucky to win it. The Cardinals offense KICKED our ass in the fourth. The Cards QB had HOURS to throw...we couldn't break through to get him.

The Cards can hold their heads high. Hell of a game.

Being a Steelers fan, I'm damned glad we won. But man, my ticker can't take many more games like that. *whew!*

and from an earlier post
At least I don't live in the arm pit of the EU.

yet another example why the steelers fan base is becoming one of the most disliked,,

against the seahawks i rooted for the steelers but so much like this made it easier to root against them this time.
;)

Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers!:)

I thought they were a worthy winner in a close game, but the Cards certainly played their part in a very entertaining and exciting game. And like most, I thought they had stole it at the death, until Big Ben drove his team to glory inside the last minute!

Roethlisberger is an odd one! He has the looks & build of Frankenstein's Monster, yet he is suprisingly mobile, and seems to keep his feet and find a reciever when you are certain he will be sacked for a big loss.

The Steelers can go on from here and win more. They have an oustanding defence, yet you feel there is plenty of room for improvement in this side. I've watched them win two Super Bowls in the past few years, but they do not look anywhere near the quality of the great 49ers, Cowboys, or Patriots teams who won multiple titles in recent decades. However, with a brilliant young head coach, and probably the best support in the NFL, they can easily achieve this in the coming years.:techman:

i will say some of the steeler fans are indeed gracious winners and congratulations to them.
congratulations to the steeler coaches and most of the players.
i still dont know why harrison wasnt ejected.

I'm not sure what the rule is, but I was surprised that Harrison wasn't tossed as well. My inclination would have been to throw him out, but I have yet to hear an explanation as to why he wasn't.

T'Bonz you're the Steelers fan here, and I'm not really. but I disagree about the Steelers being lucky to have won that game. You don't make drives like they did on that winning drive on luck. You don't make throws/catches like Roethlisberger (did I spell it right?) and Holmes did on the winning play based on luck. In fact, the Cards had a great defense called/executed on that play.

A heckuva game, played with maybe more guts and passion than technical expertise. One for the ages.

As a Steelers fan, I am glad we won, of course, but GEEZ! The game obviously could have gone either way. I am old enough to have witnessed the Steelers win all 6 of their super bowls, and this one is by far the strangest one. The previous five championships I felt we fully deserved. This one I'm not so sure about. Maybe over time I'll come to accept that somehow we did deserve it.

No ... freakin' ... way. The officiating in the Seahawks Super Bowl was even worse and more biased than this one. This was a joke; that was a travesty, and Steelers fans should have been ashamed to call their team champs that year.

That said ... I like Roethlisberger. I think he's actually quite savvy. Even though the pass fell incomplete, I thought his decision to get a play off before the two minute warning in hopes of catching the Cards napping was an excellent tactic. Roethlisberger, Holmes and Ward deserve their props, without question.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree and move on from past alleged catastrophes.

BTW... Anyone notice Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin plays Foreman on "House" ?
