Probably closer to Season 1-3 MASH, which used a lot more hijinks. For a live-action LD show to work, it should be written in the vein of M*A*S*H. Basically, comedy laced with drama, where the story permits.
Yeah Trapper/Henry era, not BJ/Potter.Probably closer to Season 1-3 MASH, which used a lot more hijinks.
Fursuit technology has come a long way since its awkward and informal beginnings, but it hasn't reached the level of complexity needed for either of them to be more than Easter eggs.To be honest, parts of it would totally work, parts of it would not. Character's such as Shax, T'ana and Migleemo would have to be recast, or altered their look on. Either that or we go full tracker CGI nightmare or call in the furry suit makers and tell them they have an unlimited budget (Nobody wants that, you think you might but no) as so much of their character is derived from their physicality.

So The Orville? I actually found Season 2 of the Orville a nice mix of comedy and Drama. Season 3 leaned more on the Drama side, which isn't bad but the tonal shift of the show was noticeable.
So basically we're saying rewatch Galaxy Quest and The Orville for your Lower Decks Live Action Fix.
Probably more like Galaxy Quest than the Orville. So basically we're saying rewatch Galaxy Quest and The Orville for your Lower Decks Live Action Fix.
It's confirmed that only Mariner and Boimler are in the live action bits.Holy ****!
I really hope we get Noel and Eugene too, although I would understand if, as voice artists, they don't want to don Orion skin and cyborg makeup. I'm absolutely stoked for live action Mariner and Boimler!
I would have really liked to see Tendi in live action as well. I’m surprised no one online has photoshopped her to look Orion. It's confirmed that only Mariner and Boimler are in the live action bits.
I hope it’s just Mariner complaining that everything is wrong.![]()
