Which Fantasy Series Should I Watch, Witcher, Cursed or The Letter for The King?

I'm finding myself in the mood for a medieval fantasy series after I finish the stuff I'm watching now, and after looking around I've narrowed it down to three Netflix series, The Witcher, Cursed or The Letter For The King. I haven't decided which of the three to watch, so I was just wondering if anybody on here had any thoughts on them?

I tried the Letter for the King. It felt really cheap and poorly done. Witcher was pretty good overall.

I know nothing about the games or books, so I really enjoyed Witcher. Knowing a few people that love both games and books, reactions there were mixed. I'm guessing, if you don't have previous experience with The Witcher, go for that!

Watch the Witcher.
I have played the second and third game and all the books, they are great!

The Witcher TV show is pretty good, although it is (apparently purposefully) hard to follow at times, which can be annoying. I enjoyed it despite that, though.

Hmm, well that hurts my enthusiasm for The Witcher a bit.
I actually don't mean this as a sarcastic insult Kirk, I think even you'll agree that our tastes are very different.

His tastes aren't any closer to mine and I enjoyed it. The multiple timeline thing I could see being confusing if you don't know about it going in, but since I did know that was no trouble. It is a darker kind of fantasy, but it's not Game of Thrones dark, so I've seen way worse in that respect.

I get that. But, to be fair, we both post on a Star Trek forum, so some of our tastes have to be a bit similar  But, regardless, if my opinion helps inform a decision either way, or not at all, thats fine with me. Just adding my perspective to the question.

I liked the Witcher. It's a little convoluted at times, but I think it gets better with every episode.

I'm fine with darker, so that works for me.

And I appreciate the input, even from people I don't always agree with.

Witcher - pretty good
Cursed - Meh to OK
Letter for the King - poor to meh, at best

IMHO

I really enjoyed "The Witcher," more than I thought I would. I thought it would be too cheesy, but I ended up really liking it. The non-linear storytelling made it more interesting--you have to do a bit of work to put the pieces together-so when the end conects it all, you get that "Aha!" moment.

I couldn't get past episode one of "Cursed." Just horrible writing, lazy plotting, Bleh.

Haven't seen "Letter for the King," at all, so I can't comment on that one.

I've only seen The Witcher (but only the trailer for Cursed) and I'd recommend The Witcher.

(I did like the first book, second is on the list and enjoyed the second two games so I may be a little biased:) )

I watched the first episode of The Witcher and found it rather bland and oddly superficial.

I didn't like the look of the Cursed take on the Arthurian legend (an issue I've had ever since the movie Excalibur met all of my requirements in full) and I've never heard of Letter For The King.

Forget 'em all and go watch Excalibur.

You're welcome !

I watched the first episode of The Witcher and I really liked it.
My only experience with the franchise before this was The Witcher 3, which I loved, so the stuff with Ciri really stood out for me since it was referred to a lot in the game.
So was the girl in the forest Ciri, or Renfri?
Henry Cavill is great as Geralt.
So when does Yennifer come in? I was a little surprised we didn't at least get a quick scene or two with her in the first episode.
I want to avoid spoilers, so I'm just going to use this thread for my reactions as I go through the season.

One other thing I forgot to mention before, was how awesome the Blaviken fight was.
