What would a fourth season have looked like?

I get the budget would be lower and could that have effected the featured cast like Nichelle Nichols and Walter Keonig?

Well, per contract, NBC's license fee would have gone up if a hypothetical fourth season was made, so that would have closed some of the gap.

On the other hand, per contract, all of the show's regulars (at that point, Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, and Doohan) were entitled to raises if their options were picked up. Takei, Koenig, and Nichols had agreements that were less black and white, but they probably would have gotten small raises if they came back, too.

You pelted her with rocks while the doctor that can do Vulcan heart repair surgery and re-implant brains couldn't fix some contusions and let her die?

Now you forced me to think. So Shower Curtain monster (Gorgan) convinces the Eymorgs to steal Parmen's Brain to run their society but it turns out the kironide does not only work on their own planet and Parmwn's Brain goes on a rampage strangling people with it's spinal cord. But Jim'll fix it, he shows Gorgan a mirror and seeing his reflection dies of embarrassment, he then convinces Philana of her "humanity" with lots of physical contact (say no more) which then allows her trick Parmen's brain back into his body with the help of the Android Norman and Sargon and Thalasa who offer to help the poor brainless Eymorgs.
Finally, @johnnybear is captured and the Platonians' new whatever Alexander was.

I didn't know I was a fugitive in the first place!!! What did I do?:nyah::shrug::whistle:

I think we'd get alot of episodes like The Paradise Syndrome set outdoors to keep budget costs down and because of the focus on ecology in 1970 And maybe a Harry Mudd/Tribbles crossover

Probably no tribbles if Frieberger was still running things - Gerrold had pitched it for the third season and was rejected Frieberger did not think Trek should be doing comedy and did not like the original eoisode.

I think you meant to reply to @JonnyQuest037. But when you click the username in question, a little pop-up thing appears where you can still click on the number of messages, and then you will be taken to a page of search results showing everything posted by that user.

Anyway, as Trek progressed into the seventies, I'm sure everybody would have had big, bushy mustaches.

Fred Freiberger probably wouldn't have come back. Leonard Nimoy would get into arguments about the portrayal of his character. Gene Roddenberry wouldn't get back into the thick of it unless NBC agreed to move Star Trek out of Friday Nights at 10:00. So, there probably would've been someone else to replace Fred Freiberger with their own idea of how to do a fourth season.

Probably a lot more bottle shows because the budget would be cut further and the actor's salaries would still go up. Doing the full five years of the five-year mission would've been a miracle.

Oh, sorry, I fixed that.

I didn't realize you could click on the number. It doesn't jump out as a "click me". Thanks for the tip.

What did she do that annoyed everyone? Wasn't she only here for the week or something?
The thing I never get with film companies who have a blockbuster on their hands is the attitude of do a sequel, you have to cut costs yet the actors salaries go up! And the same each and every time! If you're spending five million on a project yet that project brings you in forty five million then surely you plough more cash into the next one, not less?

Taunting the mods on any internet forum can be fatal. She paid the ultimate price. I have the feeling she will be cyber-reincarnated under a different user name.
