What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Leftover homemade cheesy crust pizza from Tuesday. Still epic even though warmed with the microwave.

I don't think I had dinner last night ~ the wine, martinis and baileys were enough :)
But tonight is smoked mackeral with horseradish to start, steak in red wine, mushroom, cream sauce, with garlic roast pots, mangetout, baby corn and greens ~ if I can find the kitchen that is

Fettuccine alfredo, minestrone, and breadsticks. (My sister and I went to the Olive Garden.)

Mmmm, I love fettuccine alfredo! Never had it at the Olive Garden though.

We had eggrolls, Hong Kong Chicken, shrimp fried rice, and crab rangoon from the very precious local Chinese restaurant. I've never had chicken like that from any other place. Also it was dinner shared with my brother and my parents and their house, so that made it infinitely more pleasant. :)

Did "Stadium brats" last night. Slightly smaller than a traditional brat, they fit perfectly in a hot dog bun. Add a little diced onion, some grated cheese, and a little mustard and presto....delicious dinner.

I think I'm doing sushi tonight.

Sloppy Jays.
That's where I take regular sloppy joe mix, add cumin and cinnamon, sprinkle with sea salt and add to the ground beef. It rounds out the tang of the sloppy joe mix with a little more flavor.

I skipped dinner because I knew I was going to a beer tasting event. Instead I tasted nine different Belgian beers along with cheese and crackers.

I had delicious chicken enchiladas stuffed and smothered with queso chihuahua and a wonderful tomatillo sauce...sprinkled with cilantro.

Added to the rice and fried beans was a yummy fresh guacamole dip for my tortilla chips.

Yum!

I didn't know that they made cheese out of dogs. I learn something new every day.:techman:

Went to my favorite French bistro with a couple of friends and we had some snails, mushroom tart, salad and wine followed by an awesome creme brulee. :)
