What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Buffalo wings.

Except I made the sauce too hot (I always make my own from scratch.) and nearly melted my face off.

They were plenty good though.

Mid-afternoon lunch with a friend:

Spicy fish soup
Whole grilled plaice with garlic butter, sides of seasonal vegetables & chunky chips
Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

Wine list was unremarkable, so settled for a sicilian lemonade instead... rather nice, and of course the lemon complemented the fish well.

Hard times for the family call for takeaway pizza for 4. Tonight it's chicken and ground beef on one Italian rarebit, ground beef, onions and jalapenos on another.

Home made hotdogs... with sauteed onions, finely sliced pickled gherkins, honey mustard, hint of ketchup and mayonnaise, all washed down with diet coke. Best dinner in ages - in front of a good Hollywood action movie. I think I'm turning into an American. :p

Did you watch Giles & Sue in the Fifties yesterday? ;)
My mother forced me to watch it. :p

What? It's a GREAT series (about the only thing on TV I actually try to make an effort to tune into). Of course, what really makes it is the slightly flirty dynamic between the two of the them. ;)

The French Revolution ep was tops.

Biryani rice, with a side salad and a slice of homemade cake. :bolian:

To be fair, I was engrossed in it somewhat. :vulcan:
