Sitting here coughing and blowing my nose like I've been doing for the last week. I drove across the state the weekend before last to see my granddaughter in a school play. It was great seeing my girls, but somewhere I picked up one of the respiratory viruses going around and it doesn't want to let go of me.
Watched a student driver trying to back up into the driveway turn the whole thing into a 40-point parking job. Switching directions when it wasn't necessary, barely moving and switching directions again, not switching directions when it was clear the car wasn't aligned. A car coming the other direction actually turned around instead of waiting.
Staring at the computer, then the my phone, and then Junior. Had a terrible day at work so I'm trying to put it out of my head. Junior is sitting on my desk, waiting for his evening snack, and putting his face in front of the screen.
The truck in front of me -- about the size of the second smallest U-Haul -- has strong exhaust coming out nonstop at a high rate. Had to cut off outside air. I didn't even know this was still a thing. Any rules and regulations being broken here?
Taking the clothes out of the washing machine, and moving them to my solar-powered clothes line to dry. At 90+F and 23 percent humidity, the clothes dry much faster outside than in the electric dryer, and sun is free.
