I went to bed at 10 pm on New Year’s Eve and woke up at 9:30 am the next day (today). Then I spent the morning watching the Taylor Swift Reputation Tour movie!

This song seems perfect for the first day of 2019.

P.S. I hate going out, getting drunk, and partying with the masses. Welcoming the new year at home with family is the only way I've ever celebrated.

I’d much rather party with a small group of close friends, but if they all have their own things in other parts of the country, getting drunk and partying with the masses is a good alternative.

After giving up on trying to find a restaurant in the French Quarter with less than a two hour wait I just grabbed two slices of pizza and went to a place called Bandstand for four hours where a local band called Chicken On The Bone was playing classic rock.

The last song they played in 2018: Fat Bottomed Girls.
