U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701 - TOS

All major hull forms are complete. Just need to add windows and a couple of details.

"She's a beauty, Mr. Hughes."

Nice to see you back. A strong finish to the year. Looking great.

I don't know who decided to add those details to the boxes around the main sensor, but they deserve a medal. (The pilots didn't have them.) It adds such flavor in an understated way.

I love your work. The Enterprise is grand. :luvlove: (Is this the TAS Enterprise with its missing bridge nub? Just kidding.)

See, this is why it's good to have a second pair of eyes. Thanks for catching that. I've now added it.

Looking good!
Never cut in windows? Use a texture then??
This might be usefull since Madkoi uses max to.

I am going to model in windows, they are just the last step.

Excellent modeling and detailing :techman:
You might check the overhang over the shuttlebay. I'm not sure how to describe it but the outer edges should be parallel with the horizontal instead of angled toward the center.
It took me a reading this a few times and looking back at the pictures to see what you mean, but I got there in the end. You are completely right!

I think it might look better angled the way PixelMagic has them, but horizontal is definitely model-accurate. Depends on goals.

The goal here is accuracy. Thanks, blssdwlf. I think I made the proper correction.

@PixelMagic - Fantastic. Wow. :techman:

Since you asked for missing parts here's my feedback (based on the 2016 NASM version)
On the Primary hull
There should be 3 circular ports at the front of the saucer
Lower sensor dome assembly is missing the 3 nubs
The 2 underside triangular parts has a rib (or is it a blister?) that runs on the bottom part of the triangle
I think you might have mirrored the underside windows? Viewed from the front, the gap between the underside forward windows should be on the left side
The 4 underside windows on the port/starboard appear to be missing a window on the ring above
The teardrop (BC deck?) is missing 2 circular portholes at the front

The Nacelle caps on the NASM version has only 3 tabs while you have 4 tabs
You have the grilled boxes? at the end of the nacelles only on one side of the nacelles when they should be on both sides of the nacelles
There should be 3 windows on the nacelle pylons

On the Engineering hull under the super wide rectangular window you have 4 rectangular windows. In the NASM version there are only 3 (I think you added the 2nd from the aft one)
On the Engineering hull, just forward of the green dome above the shuttlebay doors there should be 2 small lights and a red light.

It looks like you have kind of a raised lip at the aft end of the inboard nacelle trough. I'm pretty sure that's not correct. If it is, I think that would be a newer discovery that I'm not aware of. It certainly wasn't like that before 2016.

Oh I see that now. I thought it looked pretty cool as a one-piece assembly down the trough but now checking some NASM pictures I see that it's not supposed to raised like that.

I'm sorry, are you guys talking about this? I can make it more flush.
