Trek Series' Streaming in HD on Netflix or Amazon?

Does anyone have any info or point me to a link that talks about streaming the Star Trek franchise remastered and in HD?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all the series..from TOS to Enterprise and everything in between.

But going back through all of them, every night, on Netflix and/or Amazon video, it sure would be nice to see a remasted HD streaming version. Hard to watch them in original resolution on 1080p big screens.

Yes, I know, I can start a Blu-ray collection, but man, when you want to binge...that's not the most convenient method.

Star Trek, The Next Generation and Enterprise are available for streaming on both Netflix and Amazon at 1080p. Star Trek and The Next Generation are the remastered versions.

There have been no restorations done on either Deep Space Nine or Voyager. So they are available for SD streaming.

I have Amazon Prime and I am currently binge-watching the show through that. My television is 60 inches and high definition, and sometimes, particularly at the start of an episode, it does not look completely sharp. It's worth it for being free though ...

Oh it appears Amazon has all 5 series and all the movies for free.

It is still acquiring the bandwidth needed for 1080p. I have the same issue and have a 50 Mb connection.

TOS and TNG are remastered, Enterprise was shot in HD. Not looking like DS9 and VOY are going to be remastered at this time.

Just finished my binge of TNG on Amazon and discovered the movies are no longer free. Netflix has Nemesis, however.

Quite right. Amazon Prime costs money. However, if I want to stream the movies, that will now cost more money.

Which is currently much less pricey than cable.
