Maybe I’m too used too seeing massive ships. But this rendition looks cute. Cute little ship, give it a hug. :alienblush:

In any case, great work and thanks for sharing! :bolian:

Cool, nice work on that bridge module extension, I see you altered the neck and nacelle pylons as well. :mallory:

Might be little by your standards, but in her time the constitution class was the first and most powerful heavy cruiser! lol

The new neck is my favourite part of your reimaginings - Along with the now slanted nacelle pylons, this makes for a very coherent design.

I personally do not like the slanted nacelle pylons it gives it a flimsy appearance IMHO. Observe:

TMP 1701 and 1701A "thickened" the pylons on the perspective slant to stave off the flimsy appearance.
They more or less shot around the same slanted pylon redesign in BEY (masking them with head on shots
and close ups of other sections of the ship.

And the JJVerse 1701A is really off balance with blunt dorsal and pylons at the tippy toe front of the nacelles. I think the pylons are just fine the way they were originally designed with the illusion of being swept back from some angles.

The basic premise design of Franz Jefferies is in almost every version of federation starship. This is why I am quick to defend the TOS 1701 as the beauty it is. Some say it's a model T jalopy compared to the rest. I say it's not only a classic it set the mold for all to follow. Even Defiant has a saucer / nacelle aspect with no pylons or dorsals. Kudos to the Master Designer!
