Torchwood cut 'like punishment'

despite early complaining, I think this 5 episode format is working very well, and the ratings continue to hold strong,

I've learned something from this thread, that "whine" is apparently an American word. Apparently.

^ All I've learnt on this board over the last fortnight is that Americans seem to think 'whinge' is the British misspelling 'whine'.

Yeah. I know.

Same, I (very britishly) corrected one in the Transformers 2 grading thread. So "whinge" is a misspelling of "whine" and "arse" is a polite euphemism for "ass" used by Canadians. The things you can learn on TrekBBS!

whinge?

anorak?

ming-mong?

Paul McGann?

What is all this British slang? I'm American! I demand you speak American! Damn foreigners...

In fairness I have no idea what a ming-mong is!

As for Paul McGann...soon we will bring you, Joe McGann! Mwaha ha ha

The McGanns...they're the British Baldwins!

 That could be true.

I think Ming Mongs are the name they have for the wacky part of fandom.
