Hold up - what?!Some takeaways:
- The version shown at the premieres was not seen by them as the final version, just what was necessary to meet their commitment to backers.
Maybe. It's not clear what further work needed to be done, only some vague statements by Kornblodt after 6 minutes. However, David Zappone himself says that they went in seeking feedback from the audience, which have been incorporated into the still not yet completed final cut.Hold up - what?!
That sounds like 455 is moving the goalposts to me.
Honestly, I'm okay with this. The documentaries made for the ENT Blu-rays were plentiful, and covered more than one single movie-length one ever could.they made no commitments to making an Enterprise documentary
I'd say so. Back in October they said the film was completed, done, finished. There was never talk (not that there was much talk to begin with) about it being just a 'premiere backers cut'. But yeah, it is what it is. We'll see what they come up with in 6-8 weeks.Hold up - what?!

Agreed. I have no doubt that we'll get it...eventually...but I'd appreciate more transparency.Once more, what pisses me off the most is the lack of communication to the backers. We get shafted while everyone who goes to conventions gets all the updates first.
I fucking paid to help make this documentary happen, and I expect to be told how my money is being used before the rest of the fandom does.
A lawsuit would be pointless at this time. Maybe if they never deliver but I doubt that's going to happen. And you can't sue them for lack of communication.but I wonder if this could be a possible lawsuit or is that too extreme?
To be honest, I always expected this to be just a nostalgic look back. Just like the DS9 doc mostly was.the possibility that it will essentially be a fluff piece lacking in transparency.
Seems rather fitting.Sounds like To The Journey doesn't hit the highs that What We Left Behind did, which is unfortunate...
It's a pity no one else on staff knows how to type words into the internets. It seems they no longer have a person on staff to take care of social media.
