It's like Picard taking Kirk right up to Soran to die, instead of going back in time to the Enterprise when Soran was onboard and taking him into custody.
So excited for people to see #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds finale, cause I loved it when I saw it. And, no spoilers, but folks may wish to catch up on some of the best early episodes of The Original Series… for no particular reason.

My thinking is that it's to show that in trying to screw with an immovable fate, it's best to just leave things as is and let life take its course. He may end up affecting more lives and more people dying from his own interests, which may be a slap in the face to him and he may reckon a little more with his fate.What I want to know is how does Pike being there make the events of BOT worse?
