It's a meme.

IG-12 from Season 3 of The Mandalorian. The droid was turned into a mecha for Grogu.
Not really, though I would still watch some of those episodes. Too many episodes are just cringe-fests.I'm gonna take a guess and say you're not a big fan of TOS.
Yup you're right I just kept bringing up the soviet regime in my original post - that's all I talked about, in fact, so made total sense for you to bring it up here - thanks. While the atheistic Soviet regime was a paragon of respect for human dignity and freedom. Yeah, I get it.
So one episode here is a horrible thing? Not really, though I would still watch some of those episodes. Too many episodes are just cringe-fests.![]()
Unlikely in my case for quite some time: I don't do streaming services or premium channels; there is apparently no legitimate DVD release, and the only thing in the house capable of playing a Blu-Ray is so slow, it takes minutes for a volume to finish mounting.Just watch the Mandalorian.
It is, then I proceeded to explain why.So one episode here is a horrible thing?
Well, one man's trash...etc, etc.It is, then I proceeded to explain why. Each series has its stupid episodes - many, actually. SNW S1 is bad so far and I'm up to no.8 - most episodes are 1/5, on my own rating. I happen to know S2 is better though! I guess as per Start Trek usual, S1 is always trash...
Was referring to another poster, but fair enough.Unlikely for quite some time: I don't do streaming services or premium channels; there is apparently no legitimate DVD release, and the only thing in the house capable of playing a Blu-Ray is so slow, it takes minutes for a volume to finish mounting.
Yes, I knew that. Clarified my original reply. As I recall, the last time I used it, I could power the thing up, and go relieve my bladder while it was booting. Then insert a volume, and go have a snack while it was mounting. So it shouldn't surprise anybody that I have dozens of DVDs, but only one or two Blu-Rays (and that I am very pissed about certain features in "TOS Remastered" [like the "unaired pilot" version of "Where No Man Has Gone Before"] being Blu-Ray-only).Was referring to another poster, but fair enough.
Here, this will make it easier for everyone:Yes, I knew that. Making a clarification.
Lighthearted?????The lighthearted experience of the Original Series is firmly encoded into SNW's DNA. With a measure of TNG's more down to earth style and increased use of scientific principles, and DS9's focus on consequence and character growth.
Nah. You've clearly not watched much SF TV from the 1960s.If only for the terrible high school play-grade sets and production. Has nothing to do with budget or the era it was in, those producers/directors were clearly total idiots!
Not to be taken too seriously, in any case. Kirk snogging everything female in sight, for instance.Lighthearted?????
An Urban Myth. Kirk was the lead so he had a fair share of romances., but his "snogging" was perhaps lesser than his contemporaries. Not to be taken too seriously, in any case. Kirk snogging everything female in sight, for instance.
He owes more to the Urban Myth than OG KirkKelvin Timeline Kirk is substantially hornier.
Underhanded but obvious attempt at legitimizing the human filth of religion. We don't need more of this BS in ST. It's boring, offensive (because all religion is abusive of human autonomy and rights),
