I am getting out of this thread now as I will not be able to see ‘The Next Generation’ for at least another 48 hours.

After a week of hype, I just hope I can sit down and enjoy it. Maybe expecting perfection is too much (Even though it feels like it must be perfect to even reach the hype it has recieved) but if I watch this episode and give it a 9 or above, I will consider that expectations met. 6-8 will have me intrigued for the next episode and 5 or less will make me think "Oh god not again".

• (Re)watch STP 201 "The Star Gazer" -- it's the most "Terry Matalas" episode of season 2, see how much the Stargazer changes to become the Titan-A. Also useful if you are worried about things being too dark and want to calibrate the light contrast on your TV...
• Re(watch) LOWER DECKS 202 "Kayshon, His Eyes Open" -- Riker as the captain of the Titan, probably could get a reference in during season 3
