Welp… the latest update of this game once again crashes it for every button press. I guess my 7th gen iPad is just too old anymore. Highly frustrating. It got this bad when I hit level 80 last year, to the point where I reinstalled it, but I guess it didn’t store my progress out in the “cloud” and it reset me back to level 1. I’m back into the 30’s, but my progress has been again stalled because of the continuous CTD’s, and I can’t justify the expense of getting a 10th gen just for one game. 
I've had it in the past were it can take time (hours/days/fortnight) for the system to recognise there is a progress. I had massive freezing issues a few days ago, reinstalled, couldn't restore the cloud save cause it got stuck loading it, finally reached out to them and they suggested a list of things, and then it loaded the cloud save very slowly, and now runs mostly fine again. There was also a new update just yesterday or so.
I don’t have any kind of security key that I’m aware of. I reinstalled it a couple of months ago. If it didn’t get me back to level 80 by now, I don’t suspect it ever will, sadly.
Does anyone else have the impression they made it much harder a while ago? I used to get all, or almost all milestones in weekend events, now I only get half or so. Not even worth investing latinum anymore cause I don't get it back. And the rapid tap things at the end of episodes used to give me 4 or 5 boxes, now I get only 1.
The later missions are like that. I was redoing all the early missions after I reset everything (before it started crashing all the time again) and they were still in the 4-5 range. Somewhere up in the 60’s, IIRC, is where the number decreased.
Anyone having the Elemntary Event hang on them while loading? Stuck at 100%, but doesn’t finish loading. 
It's functioning normally again now that the "Elementary" Event ended and "Starfield of Dreams" started, but I'm kind of bummed I couldn't back get into it before it finished.
Anyone seen these "Temu" ads? They hijack the app and call your primary browser to send you to their website. How the A.F. is that legal?

Yeah, I’m disappointed that they never seemed to figure out how to tie the game account with the main user account. I normally play on my iPad but I wanted it on my phone as a backup and it never linked, even though I’m “logged in”. It wanted me to start from level 1. Not doing that again…
You have to change a setting to keep your current status backed up, then on a new device and logged in to Google Play in the game it will say that it found a previous backup. It worked after I deleted and reinstalled it on the old phone, but on the new one, restoring the backup now crashes the game 
What about on an iPad?
It already says I’m signed in with my Apple ID right underneath a line that says, “Link your account - Save you progress and restore on multiple devices”. But then, down below, it says “Game service not connected”. I have no way of knowing how to either link my accounts or how to connect my “game service”. There are no other buttons or instructions and a search on multiple discussion boards on the subject say it was something that they never got around to completing. So…. I dunno… 
I was hoping that someone here got it to work on an Apple device somehow, but it’s not looking promising at this point. If there is a procedure, it is not intuitive.

It has you play through the tutorial before a popular will oder to restore from backup.
I'll give it a try. Does it stay synced after that point, recognizing any changes between devices from that point forward?
