Sometimes it leans into to being a comedy and a cartoon. What I wanna know is if this was live action would these characters be the same cause their antics are just way to fucking goofy for starfleet or was that the whole damn point of it being animated.
I just see it as the animation style exaggerating certain things. That version we see in that SNW episode is probably what they are like. What I wanna know is if this was live action would these characters be the same cause their antics are just way to fucking goofy for starfleet or was that the whole damn point of it being animated.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but this episode felt like filler to me
It is but they set up a story with those rifts. People want to see that story continueThis is a common complaint this season and I don't get it. Isn't the point getting back the "episodic weirdness" of the Lower Decks premise?
Next week.It is but they set up a story with those rifts. People want to see that story continue

See, and now I thought they were almost exactly like their animated counterparts, perhaps just toned down a notch. The answer to that is no. We saw Boimler and Mariner in live action, and they acted very little like their animated counterparts. Think of LDS as a factionalized version of what is actually going on in real life.
