I saw this title a few weeks ago and didn't think it would have to do with Pumpkin Carving. I do hope the episode is good and furthers the overall season plot some. 3 episodes left of this series. Can't believe it's almost over. :(

Evolving and devolving into a futuristic cavewoman :D

The rocks in the bridge ceiling are Cordry rocks (named after the guy killed by Nomad?), and they get a technobabble explanation! :D :D :D

Jaresh-Inyo's species?

Some virus makes everyone sing - a SNW musical ref? :D

Out of phase like Geordi and Ro :D

Ref to Riker's startleplause during Ode for Spot :D

T'ana is getting zapped by the phallic engineering thing that appeared in several episodes

It's a 9 because of the rock technobabble and the cute isopod pigs :luvlove:

Note to Destructor: There's gore, violence, pain infliction for pleasure in this one.

I was ready to hate the episode, but the ending really did bring it all together is a nice way. I'm still bummed we have 2 episodes left and another week of not knowing why Boimler is changing so much (I think he has been the worst character this season and the beard is a reason why). However, the stuff with Ranson and Shax was nice and we got a nice scene between Carol and the Admiral. Also, T'lyn's Joke was funny.

The Upper Deckers are really ridiculous when it comes to their capabilities

Is Dr. T'ana ridiculous in terms of pain tolerance or what?
I think she's in the wrong field, she should be in tactical with that kind of ability to withstand pain.

Shax being so badass that he can fight a small army while closing his eyes.

Lt. Commander Billups able to solve nearly any crisis situation in engineering.

Commander Ransom seems to use a weird "Get everybody to hate me" technique to unify squabling Lower Deckers.

Captain Freeman seems to really care about her crew, she spends alot of time talking to them individually.

Also, it's sweet that Admiral Alonzo Freeman took the trip out to see Carol Freeman and have a nice romantic holodeck date in Paris.

What I wanna know is if this was live action would these characters be the same cause their antics are just way to fucking goofy for starfleet or was that the whole damn point of it being animated.

I just see it as the animation style exaggerating certain things. That version we see in that SNW episode is probably what they are like.

Wow, LDS's take on TNG'S Lower Decks was inspired and was easily as good as the last couple of weeks.

T'Ana always makes me laugh:

THat was set for heavy stun!
So was I! :guffaw:

The crew needing to be complimentary to defeat their invaders also tickeled me. :D

The answer to that is no. We saw Boimler and Mariner in live action, and they acted very little like their animated counterparts. Think of LDS as a fictionalized version of what is actually going on in real life.
